I'm going to share my one single place that you can eat anything and everyday, for very cheap price.
But first, let me show you my hotel. Da Nang is a touristic city, therefore you have a lot of choice of where to stay. You can stay in fancy resorts along the beach, the fanciest maybe InterContinental Da Nang on Son Tra peninsula. I stayed in a river view hotel named Avora, 170 Bach Dang (my favorite Dua Ben Tre coconut place is 196 - how convenient :))) The hotel is new, modern, so modern we didn't know how to function the TV remote control, but we found out in the last day that it needed to be rolled and not to be pressed. This is our view:

Services are very abundant in Da Nang. At the hotel I could rent motorbike to ride around. Most of the biked rented to tourists, especially western tourists, are scooters and not gear bike. I personally prefer gear bike for safety. If you are western and you are not familiar with riding motorbike, be careful with scooters as they only have hand break. Easy to fall if you break suddenly.
I ALWAYS eat at Con Market (Chợ Cồn) - 269 Ong Ich Khiem. There is also Han Market by the Han river (chợ Hàn) but I prefer Con because it's very local. They sell all kind of food specialty in these two places. You have to find the food area of the market, because they have clothes and other things area too.

Just order anything. The sticks are nem lụi (a kind of sausage) and bò lá lốt (beef wrapped in leaf). A bunch of name for you guys:
- Bò lá lốt (beef wrapped in leaf)
- Nem lụi (that kind of grilled sausage)
- Chả giò (spring rolls, in the north of Vietnam we call it Nem)
- Bánh xèo (pan cakes, the yellow food on the right side of the box)
- Bánh tráng cuốn thịt heo (boiled fresh bacon strips wrapped into a wrap)
- Mì quảng (noodles in Quang Nam style)
All food that are not noodles come with wrapping rice paper, dipping sauce and a lot of vegetable and fruits, in this case mangoes and cucumber. You can also order beer and or juice from the lady next stall.
Bánh tráng cuốn thịt heo is my favorite and also a must-eat of Da Nang.
Those red cap bottles are chilli sauce, cooked from fresh chili, salt and sugar.

Have fun rolling. In the South of Viet Nam, we just roll everything up. We even roll spring rolls in veggie leaf.

In the West you rolling joints but in Viet Nam we rolling rolls

In the same food court of Con Market, fruit deserts ladies with huge avocados, huge mangoes, huge coconuts and enormous jack fruits. SUPER CHEAP. I wish my belly was infinite so that I could eat all these smoothies. I don't know you but I feel very emotional when I see an abundant amount of tropical fruits, especially in Viet Nam. I just want to cry and thank Mother Nature and the Deltas to be so nutrious and produce these fruits. I feel patriotic when I see Vietnamese fruits, that's it.
To sum up, you can eat anything and everyday in Con Market.
Right beside Con Market, one of my most favorite Chinese restaurant: Tiệm Ăn Chợ Lớn, 267 Ong Ich Kiem, Da Nang. God, I just found out they are big chain and they have many restaurants around Da Nang and a pro website: http://tiemancholon.com/

You can also eat sea food too, remember Da Nang is an ocean city? I speak the language so I just ride a bike a long the beach and jump into any cheap looking restaurant. In Viet Nam, sea food is fresh. They still swimming. You point to a fish and they measure how much it weighs, and they kill it and cook it for you. Choose a restaurant with quite many people so that you know it's serious food, but not way too crowded or you will wait quite long. Would be best if you find a place like that with a couple of foreigners. Walk in, check the menu, point out what you want them to kill and wait.

We chose a fish and some mussels and oysters thing.

Fish was grilled and fish head was to cook a delicious sour soup

We make a tasty sauce for grilled shells including spring onions and peanuts. The food is very delicious and not at all smell like disgusting sea food, no no, we seriously know how to cook sea food. I think we cook better sea food than many countries by the sea actually.
Basically that's about what to eat in Da Nang. You will eat good food there I'm sure.
